Documented History:

This car was purchased from Douglas Chevrolet by Motorsports Research Group in Des Plaines, Illinois, in 1967. They intended to race the car in Trans-Am, but for reasons unknown the car sat for two years.

In 1969, the car was purchased by Jim May, Warren Fairbanks, and Reed Sinclair. They finished the car and Warren drove it in its first Trans-Am race at Mid-Ohio, in June of 1970. He finished in 11th place.

The car ran a combination of Trans-Am, SCCA, and Nationals through 1975.
